What Does P0718 Mean?

P0718 is a diagnostic trouble code indicating: Input/Turbine Shaft Speed Sensor A Circuit Intermittent. This code relates to the transmission system. It has been reported in NHTSA complaints across 3 different vehicle models.

The automatic transmission is controlled by the TCM using input from speed sensors, temperature sensors, and pressure sensors.
